By creating an account or using the Service in any manner, you represent that you are at least 18 years of age and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

2. Description of Service

Perfecto.cv is an AI-powered resume tailoring platform. The Service allows users to upload their professional experience, store it in a structured “Vault,” and generate customized, ATS-optimized resume versions tailored to specific job descriptions. The AI operates exclusively on the content you provide and does not fabricate, invent, or hallucinate professional experience.

3. User Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You agree to notify us immediately at contact@perfecto.cv of any unauthorized use of your account. We are not liable for any loss resulting from unauthorized use of your account.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service to generate false, misleading, or fraudulent content about your professional experience.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the underlying AI models or proprietary systems.
• Use automated scripts, bots, or scrapers to access the Service in excess of normal usage.
• Violate any applicable local, national, or international law or regulation.
• Resell, sublicense, or otherwise commercially exploit the Service without express written permission.

5. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of the Service, including but not limited to software, text, graphics, logos, and AI models, are the exclusive property of Perfecto.cv and its licensors. The resume outputs generated for you are your property and are licensed to you for personal and professional use.

6. Subscription and Billing

Certain features of the Service are available on a paid subscription basis. Subscriptions are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis. You authorize us to charge your payment method on file for applicable fees. All fees are non-refundable except as required by law. We reserve the right to modify pricing with at least 30 days’ advance notice.

7. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI-generated resume content will result in employment outcomes. Resume results are provided as-is and are subject to your review and verification before submission.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Perfecto.cv shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Service, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the American Arbitration Association rules.

10. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide at least 30 days’ notice for material changes by email or by posting a prominent notice on the Service. Your continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
